In Memoriam

Two deaths of people very close to us have affected us recently. This little memoriam has been set up to honour them.

On October 6th, Graham Roberts passed after a seven year battle with lung disease. If not for him,  Pete and I would probably not own Bateau du Vent as it was him that introduced me to sailing when I was a teenager. I have scanned in the card that my Mum sent out as I could not say anything any sweeter.




Today my dad passed away after a 20 month battle with cancer. If not for him I would not have even been born. He taught me so much and loved me very much. It was unfortunate that we have not interacted very much since 2001 but I did get to spend a lot of quality time with him since his diagnosis. He was in very much pain near the end so it was a relief that he is at peace now. I love him and will miss him.
